RETRO Original Hardcore released The Anthem! They have been playing this track on their weekly livestream and at several events this festival season, but many of you asked for an official release. We heard you! It’s out now and dedicated to our upcomming event on the 25th of October in Willemeen, Arnhem the Netherlands.
Today we speak to Glenn a.k.a. Foxhound, a DJ who has been setting the decks on fire for a long time with his unprecedented skills, but also one of the men behind RETRO Original Hardcore. A number of releases have already been released under that name on our label, so it was time for an in-depth interview to find out more about this “all-rounder”.

We have decided to pay more attention to the artists who create and contribute to our beloved hardcore scene. In our new section “Interview” we will ask dj’s and producers some questions, so you have a chance to meet the human being behind the music or artist you see on stage. Na ‘De Oost’ en ‘Wolf’ komt schrijver-regisseur Jim Taihuttu met een nieuwe film. Dit keer in de hoofdrol: gabbers. “Een liefdevolle vertelling van de opkomst van de gabbercultuur.”
New AMS Film Company en Jim Taihuttu hebben de handen ineen geslagen om dit nieuwe project waar te maken. Volgens hen is Hardcore Never Dies, zoals de film gaat heten, een “rauwe, maar liefdevolle vertelling van de opkomst van de gabbercultuur halverwege de jaren 90.” De opnames zijn inmiddels in 2023 van start gaan.
31-01-2023 Een gabber-thriller, zo wordt Hardcore Never Dies getypeert door regisseur Jim Taihuttu. Dus verwacht veel kale koppen, bomberjacks en stampende dancemuziek in de vierde film van Taihuttu, met in de hoofdrollen Joes Brauers en Jim Deddes. In Taihuttu’s (De Oost, Wolf, Rabat) vierde speelfilm droomt de zeventienjarige Michael (Brauers) van een toekomst als pianist. Thuis wordt die ambitie niet gesteund.
